Principal Beach
Watching the sunrise from this beach is quite a visual experience. Early small vessels prepare their gear to set sail. Tourists enjoying a stroll at this early hour, delight themselves on a quiet beach with a very smooth swell. And just a few feet away, on Andador Pérez Gazga, they can enjoy excellent breakfasts.

It is approximately 700 meters long, gentle slope and fine gray sand. The water is lukewarm and regular swell, feature greenish and bluish tones. It is also offered boat service to travel about the different beaches of Puerto Escondido or to practice a water sport. The Principal beach is easily accessible from the “adoquinado”.
